Holiday Assistance Program

Helping over 600 community members in need during the holiday season.

With your help, Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) aims to make the holidays a little brighter for those in need through its Holiday Assistance Program, an annual effort organized by volunteers.

Update! As of 11/23/24 nearly all families requesting wrapped gifts have been “adopted”! We are still in need of gift cards to Walmart, Target, Amazon, Giant and other grocery stores. We are also accepting monetary donations that we can use to purchase gift cards. Please fill out the donor form if you are able to donate gift cards. Thank you!

 

Ways You Can Help

“Adopting” a Person/Family:

  • Complete and submit the donor form (link below) to the best of your ability.
  • In it, consider the # of people you feel you can support.
    • Please know that each person benefitting from this program may put up to 5 items on their wish list with an approximate max. total of $100-$150 per person. 
  • LVF will match you with a person/persons and provide information, including age, gender, clothing sizes, and a wish list of items. 
  • Once you have purchased, wrapped, and labeled the items you are donating, LVF will coordinate a gift drop-off at our Doylestown location.
  • Please know that this program supports people of all ages- families with children, single adults, and adult-only families.

A sign-up link will be sent to select your preferred date and available time slots.

Monetary Donation:
If you prefer to make a monetary donation via check, please mail it to Lenape Valley Foundation, Attn: Community Relations, 621 N. Shady Retreat Rd., Doylestown, PA 18901. Monetary donations are used to purchase gift cards and wish list items for people eligible for this program

Gift Cards:
We welcome gift cards of any amount to stores such as Giant, ACME, Weis, Amazon, Walmart, and Target. Gift cards are given directly to those benefiting from this program.
